To qualify for the Dwelling Fire Product, a risk must have the following characteristics:

  • 1-4 Family Tenant occupied, and 3 or 4 Family Owner occupied dwellings (Tenant HO4 policy required for owner's contents and CPL Coverage).
  • RC & ACV options available.
  • Anti-Arson Applications required for dwellings in Zone 2 Rating (City Areas).
  • Updates required: roof (15 years); electric (30 years); heat (25 years); plumbing (35 years) for Replacement Cost Coverage.
  • Refer to Dwelling Fire guidelines for multiple owner’s/business entities.
  • Refer to Dwelling Fire guidelines for out-of-state/absentee Landlords.
  • Includes ML-346 Mechanical Breakdown.

Preferred requirements in addition to the above:

  • Risk must have above average maintenance.
  • Hard wired smoke detectors.
